Today's tutorial comes to us from Fusion Beads. You can make one "Forever Yours" booby pin for an accent or many to create a unique hairstyle for your wedding day that you crafted yourself! All the items you need can be purchased on the Fusion Beads website.

What You'll Need:

  • 1 - 19.1mm Silver Plated Round Filigree with Pointed Edges (BM1056)

  • 2 feet - 26 Gauge Non-Tarnish Silver Artistic Wire (AW2157)
  • Chain nose pliers
  • Wire cutters

  1. Using about 6 inches of wire, embellish the filigree with five 3mm crystal bicone beads (see Embellishing Filigree Technique) around the filigree’s center. Trim the wire.
  2. Cut a 6-inch length of wire. String one bicone bead to the center of the wire, and bend both wire ends in the same direction so that they are parallel. Thread both wire ends through the center of the filigree, and then wrap each wire around the bobby pin tightly to anchor the filigree near the bobby pin’s bend.
  3. Using about 12 inches of wire, cover the remainder of the bobby pin with 13 crystal bicone beads (see Covering a Hair Accessory Technique).
