During the holidays, everything seems to be rush-rush! It's as though time speeds up during the holidays. We tend to find ourselves running out of time to do all the things we need to do.
If you find you are running out of time but you need centerpiece ideas, here are a few bits of inspiration that you can pull together with a trip to the dollar store and your back yard!

Also heads up everyone: next week and the following week I will be celebrating the holidays so there will not be a tutorial posted. We'll see you the following Tuesday, January 8th, 2013.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!!
One of the biggest trends this holiday is to have white, silver and gold frosty tones inspired by the season. By incorporating mixed metals, various lush fabrics and creamy, neutral tones, you can create a gorgeous theme in, not only your home, but to use in your wedding too.
Michael's put out some great holiday ideas on their site this week. To watch a short video of how these ideas can come together, check out their Crystal Elegance video here.
Following that theme, the tutorial this week will show you how to make custom chair decorations for your holiday wedding!
What You'll Need:
As I was perusing my favorite blogs, I found this creatively humorous idea from The Cheese Thief. You don't have to be an optomotrist to see the humor in this word art!
Use this great idea for Save-the-Dates or even your wedding invitations.
Find the tutorial here.
